Upon the receipt of her BFA in 2012, Raina Mitchell was awarded the Outstanding Service in Dance Award with her numerous contributions to the growth of the BFA Program. After graduation Raina returned to Atlanta and immersed herself in a variety of dance & performing arts including T. Lang Dance, Atlanta Dance Collective, The Imperial OPA Circus. She has had the honor to work under guest choreographers such as the comedic dance goddess of Scotland, Leonie McDonagh and the legendary Dianne McIntyre. After a 2016 season with Augusto Soledade Brazzdance in Miami she ventured back to Atlanta where she continued exploring circus arts, contemporary dance and theatre.  After completing a successful season with The Alliance Theatre’s program Theatre for the Very Young she very much looks forward to the variety of dance opportunities the city and the world has to offer.
